On Saturday we went to my mother's to assist her in the "undecoration" of her home. The children were delivered to Auntie K's house for an overnight. J and I had dinner utilizing a gift card he had received from a student, it was lovely. We then walked around the mall talking about this and that after which we returned home. At which point we began watching the movie, The Soloist. It was really quite good. J fell asleep on the couch and I went to bed at about 10:00 p.m. It was delightful to be together just the two of us, and strange to be without the children.
I was awoken at 11:15 by J. Auntie K called, O had swallowed a pill. We jumped in the car and headed back to the South Shore, thus continuing our date night.
O is fine and we are all very very tired. But we had our first date night of 2010!

Resolution - the act of analyzing a complex notion into simpler ones
I wrote these for 2010...We did make a lot of changes last year, but still have some work to do. So with that said. I like this list:
I resolve to have a date night with my husband, every month. - this is SO hard
I resolve not to smoke. - done
I resolve to eat less without sacrifice. - Yes!
I resolve to move my body and pump my heart. - trained and ran TWO 5ks!
I resolve to plan our lives. - There is always room for improvement
I resolve to rise earlier than my children. - having a baby helps with this one
I resolve to find a church and bring the children consistently to that newly found church. - Yes, we have and we love it!
I resolve to live in abundance. - must remind myself of this one, daily!
I resolve to write. - I have not done this at all.
